White 5 qt Enameled Cast Iron Braiser - Perfect for Slow Cooking & Searing

My daughter gave this to me for my Christmas present. I love this pan and being a Sur La Table product that it would be good, but 1 month after using it twice a week, I noticed a small chip on the edge of the lid. I thought I may have accidentally hit it on something. A week ago, I noticed a larger piece of chip came off on another side of the lid. I did not hit the lid I. Anything hard. This is not supposed to happen on enameled cast iron Dutch ovens. The ceramic coating should not chip this easily.I contacted AMAZON and they allowed me to return the item. I wanted to get it replaced with the same pan but I am afraid that this brand Dutch oven is defective
