We bought this to go with our similar patio furniture, thinking this was bar height. I give 4 stars because it was our fault for not looking at dimensions- assembled and brought it to the back patio before we realized that this is way too tall for bar-height chairs. Our 6'7" neighbor thinks it's perfect, but for me (5'5") and my husband (6') it feels like we are sitting at the kids' table. Looks wonky with our bar chairs - like wearing your parent's coat. I can't imagine having taller chairs - ours feel standard bar high. We can't chop the legs because then the foot bar will be too low. Perhaps we can put a trash can underneath.
