Waterproof Storage Box for Outdoor Camping & Hiking Gear

Nice and dryMy goto box to store salted bait. Sturdy and waterproof.I have three of these and they are great. I use them to store my scented nosework supplies for training my dog in scent work. They hold the odor in very well and they are water tight. My only issue are the latches. They are kind of flimsy and one of mine doesn't work right. I have to fiddle with it for a few minutes every time I close it. It's a pain in the neck.Great productI bought this to hold my GoPro and protect while traveling. It did great!I had bought the same exact product (diff color) from REI and it feels, and looks different. It came with a paper tag stating that it was “Outdoor Products” but see the photo comparison. The one from REI has the name/logo embossed into the plastic and the strap. The one Amazon shipped me does not. The one from REI has stickers that explain what it can/cannot do and numbers to call. Amazons is blank. Also the quality difference between the too is evident just by holding it. Amazons is light and flimsy, REI’s feels heavy and sturdy. Look at the rubber strap too. Its not the same…at least it keeps out water i guess…Will take up to a 10ah lithium battery but not a 12ahInside dimensions of small (minimum):13cm x 9cm x 7.5cmGot these because we started to do a lot of creek travel and usually there is a tree or few we have to get out and get over, and having these in our kayaks made us feel a lot safer about if something goes wrong and a kayak flips, all our stuff that matters we throw in these (one of us has the smaller and the other the bigger one) and if something happened, and it did, there was no damage to the contents. These are perfect, and we don’t have to worry about them sinking like our old dry bags for cellphones do.I wanted to put an extension cord style outlet under my deck for a Traeger smoker and wanted to make it waterproof. (This is not hard wired, but rather an extension cord from my ground faulted outlet.) This box allows for a standard outlet box to go inside perfectly. Drilled a few holes, wired in a standard outlet, and a dab of silicone. When not in use; unplug and the cover can be closed. I know codes right? ... but what codes are there that applies to a homemade extension cord - It's on a ground fault outlet anyway. Before this, I had an extension cord that was wide open to the elements.Snaps tightly shut. Floats decently. Waterproof. Handy case for phone and keys while paddleboardingUsing for a small battery/fish finder combo & it seems to work/fit very well!
