Outdoor Research Boys' 244083 Jacket for Hiking & Camping

This is a nice hat but it’s a shame that Outdoor Research uses a s/m l/xl sizing concept with no ability to tweek the size. S/m is too small for me and the l/ xl is a bit loose. Would be a perfect hat if the sizing was adjustable. The hat is well made and looks good overall with good rain resistance.Great hat for sun/rain. Wish I would have sprung for the goretex.It’s comfortable and definitely does the job. BUT! It’s warmer than I’d like for summer activity. It gets thrown in my pack though and use it often, and it is comfortable (and sexy despite what my wife thinks)This hat is lightweight, packable, fits well, and is truly waterproof. It doesn't look dorky like many rain hats. My only suggestion for improving it would be to add a stiffener around the brim; in any wind stronger than a slight breeze, the brim flaps up and my face/glasses get drenched.I bought this to wear as a swim hat. My boys love to swim, and I end up hanging out in the pool playing with them and playing lifeguard. The other swim hats I've seen and tried on made me look like an extra on Revenge of the Nerds. This one looks sharp, and beads water like no ones business. Excellent find! Hope this helps!This a great lightweight waterproof hat at a fair price. Warm, too. It totally repels water; I have to shake it off when I remove it before entering a dry area! The chin strap is convenient when windy and can easily be flipped around in back when you do not need it.Love it! Fits slightly large but still in the acceptable range. Otherwise, very well built and very effective against the rain. I like that it doesn't obscure my peripheral view like a built-in hood on a jacket does. This hat will travel with me around the world.Nice hat and very comfortable. The medium fits about a size 7 fitted hat.This is a great hat to keep rain and sun off of your face. I pack it in my backpack and break it out when needed. No matter how stuffed it is, it always springs back into shape.einen vor Regen schützen. Leider fehlt eine Größeneinstellung per Gummiband und er fällt wie es mir vorkommt groß aus. Leider musste ich feststellen dass der Hut alles andere als atmungsaktiv ist! Bei trockenem Wetter als Schutz vor evtl. noch kommenden Regen- oder Schnee-schauerrn war er außen trocken und innen nass!!
